Points of Learned Agreement
Public lore preserves the setting's disagreements and uncertain histories.
Most educated readers accept the following points. The Azure Isles are the ancestral homeland of the high elves, though elven cultures and mixed elven houses also exist elsewhere. The Iron-Bound are an ork civilization: settlers, engineers, officers, road-keepers, conquerors, and state-builders shaped by military inheritance, post-imperial statecraft, and Heartland memory.
The Azure Isles are the ancestral homeland of the High Elves and remain the single greatest concentration of High Elven population, archives, and state power in the world.
The Iron-Bound are an Ork civilization. They are settlers, engineers, officers, road-keepers, conquerors, and state-builders, not a transient raider culture.
The Voided Zone is a localized maritime wound. The greater inner sea remains broad and traversable around it.
The Shattered Isles are the broken remains of the western capital region after the Sack of Magnus Prime and the activation of the forbidden failsafe in the city's metaphysical foundations.
The Khavari devastated both halves of the empire and also ravaged the eastern Iron-Bound homeland before the Iron-Bound first migrated deeply into imperial territory. Those migrations began under service, settlement, and frontier pressure; only later did western Iron-Bound revolt and ask their king to lead them as a common political force.
The eastern border of the Iron Heartland remains partially depopulated and ruin-haunted because Khavari invasion corridors once broke it open before the western conquest era. That frontier scar still shapes Heartland politics, fear, and military habit.
